On request, our workshop engraves the child's name, date of the bratabandha or pasni, or a short blessing directly onto a drawer front, chair backrest, or trunk lid using laser engraving or hand-carved lettering, depending on the wood finish. Because pasni furniture is often within a crawling infant's reach, we finish all children's pieces with low-VOC (volatile organic compound) lacquer that cures fully before delivery, avoiding the sharp paint smell some imported furniture carries. Every edge on our children's range is rounded rather than square-cut, corners are sanded to a soft radius, and we avoid loose small hardware like decorative knobs that could be a choking hazard for toddlers.

For bratabandha-age children, we additionally anchor tall bookshelves and almirahs to the wall using a free fixing kit, since older toddlers and young boys are more likely to climb shelving than infants are.
